# MeteoAgent — Space Weather & Geomagnetic Storm Forecast

> MeteoAgent is a free space-weather service that forecasts geomagnetic storms
> (Kp index / NOAA G-scale), solar flares (GOES X-ray class), Schumann resonance,
> solar wind and a Weather Sensitivity Index (WSI), then translates them into
> plain-language health guidance for weather-sensitive people. Data is sourced
> from NOAA, NASA and Tesis, updated continuously, and available per city in 15
> languages.

## About

MeteoAgent serves people who physically feel weather and space-weather changes —
headaches, blood-pressure swings, sleep and mood shifts (meteopathy / weather
sensitivity). Every forecast page pairs the raw scientific metric with what it
means for well-being, a live embeddable widget, and a short FAQ.

## Key terms

- **Kp index** — planetary geomagnetic activity on a 0–9 scale. Kp ≥ 5 marks a
  geomagnetic storm, mapped to the NOAA G1–G5 scale.
- **Solar flare class** — GOES soft X-ray brightness: C < M < X. M/X flares can
  disturb Earth's magnetic field 1–3 days later.
- **Schumann resonance** — electromagnetic resonances in the Earth–ionosphere
  cavity (fundamental ≈ 7.83 Hz).
- **Solar wind** — speed and density of the charged-particle stream from the Sun.
- **Weather Sensitivity Index (WSI)** — MeteoAgent's 0–10 severity score for
  weather-sensitive people: Minimal (0–2), Low (3–4), Moderate (5–6), High (7–8),
  Extreme (9–10). Low WSI = most people feel good, high WSI = hard on them.
